I want to be able to keep a home for my daughters

Posted in Charm on Sep 3, 2007

I am a single mother of a 15 year old straight A student and a 7 year old who is beginning her love of school.  My dream is for my daughters to get their educations by going to college and having happy and successful lives.

I have always worked hard.  I did go to college and have had jobs that pay ok.  I work in the service field and receive no support outside of my own work.  However, I am behind in my bills.  I used my savings for a rent to own home.  It was a chance to give my daughters a stable home.  However, my income decreased and I have barely been able to pay my rent.  I am behind one and a half months.  I have just started a new part time job and in a few months will be able to keep up with my bills.  I had eighteen months to be able to find a loan and buy the home.  I am almost 12 months into this.  My credit is so bad now that my dream of owning this home is falling apart.  They now want all the money I owe or they will start the eviction process.  If I can get through this I still have the obstacle of in six months I will have to be able to buy it or loss the money I put into it and move out.

This has become my daughters home.  They have friends here.  They are happy.  They see a future.  They see their dreams coming true.

I need this help to keep us here and keep us here for good.

The house is worth 135,000 I have put 6,500 into it.  I pay 1300 per month.  I don't know if anyone will want to help me but I am working so hard to keep us in a home.  I have given up so much.  I work 7 days a week and want to teach my kids that working hard does pay off.

Thank you for your attention.
